Motivational Quote of the Day

"Make everything better than your last."

-Tyrone aka Yungspot; Rapper/Recording Artist

I got this great quote from a really good friend of mine, Tyrone who is a recording artist/rapper. I think it summarizes the many activities and challenges that we face on a regular basis in life. For in most cases we are faced with a constant struggle and endless effort to make things happen...regardless of what the aim is, it is very important to make every step of the way better than the last one. For this is the only way you can make any worthwhile progress. Now, the reason why i decided to use Tyrone's quote as the quote of the day is that...it really gets the message across and i really believe that if you take the time to make a specific action better than the last time you took that same action, you would take a major step forward towards whatever it is you are pursuing and on and on...because you are getting better with every step you are taking. To bring this into light, consider my application of the above quote as an example; when making sales calls as a consultant for my Indoor Advertisement Company, Y a H a Y a Indoor Media, I would take a few moment to write down the things i did right during the sales calls, i.e. I was clear, i spoke slowly, etc; and i would also write down the things i could do different to make the sales calls excellent, i.e I needed to take my time, increase voice confidence, be brief and get to the point quickly, etc. As a results of doing this, i have found that i get better with my next sales calls and i started seeing more results.

Take a chance, "make everything better than the last."
