Motivational Quote of the day

2pac And Afeni Shakur(mother)

"Remember to keep yourself alive, there is nothing more important than that."
-Afeni Shakur

10 Ten Ways to Stay Positively Motivated

This is the continuation of the ten ways to stay positively motivated...

6. Watch Inspirational Movie(s): This is by far one of the best ways to keep motivated. You are entertained and you have a visual momery of what scenes in the movie. You can easily relate to the movie or at least most of them and more often than not they are not boring the second time your watch them. Great movies to start with, to name a few, are The Pursuit of Happyness, Remember the Taitans, The Prince of Egypt, Lumumba, and many more.
7. Read an inspirational Poem: This is very good because they are often very personal and easy to relate to. You can find many hundreds of these out there with a simple search on google and best of all they all mostly FREE!

8. Reward yourself: It is very hard to stay positively motivated especially in an environment where there are alot of negatively. When you achieve a small or big part of your goal...REWARD yourself for your effort. This the easiest way to get you to do more towards your goal and you will feel good about yourself all over again. It is a circle that keeps on giving!

9. Find yourself a mentor: A mentor is a person whom you look up to whether or not you know them or whether they are living or dead. Having this person as your role model with help you set a good tone for yourself because you have their example to follow. This is a major source of inspiration.

10. Motivational Quote of the Day: The last and the best Way to Stay Positively Motivated is to read a motivational quote each morning before you start your day. This is because it gives you a source of inspiration from many different walks of life. More often than not, you will find that most of the motivational or inspirational quotes your read will relate to you and your life in one way or the other. After all they have the wisdom of the authors triumphs and success in Life!

Motivational Quote of the day

"Continuity gives us roots; change gives us branches, letting us stretch and grow and reach new heights."
~Pauline R. Kezer

10 Ten Ways to Stay Positively Motivated

1. Listen to Uplifting song(s): You should listen to a positive song(s) in the morning before the start of your day or during your day. This really helps in getting you to start off your day on a positive note. Such songs make you feel good about yourself and boost your confidence in your abilities to accomplish the days activities or goals for the near or distant future. A friend of my actually recommended that i do this and it actually worked for me, so here i am sharing it with you. For a start i listened and still listen to Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey`s great song, `When you Believe.`` This will help you remember the importance of having much faith and belief in youself.

2. Read a Motivational Book: These go long way to actually teaching you techiques to keep you head out of the negative attitude zone. They usually talk about autobiographies of past or present people who have attain some form of success after battling many osbtacles of which we more often than not have in common. There are gazilion amounts of motivation books out there available for you to read. Some of them are even FREE! of all the ten motivational tips, this should be the easiest to have access to. Just to a little search on google.com you will find whole books, some free some you have to pay for or some are even extracts from a book. I recommend you get an audio book in addition to a hardcopy or one of them. Audio books are great because you can listen on your way to work or play!

3. Picturize and Visualize your goal(s): This is a very effective way to keep yourself positively motivated. All this involves is having an actually picture of what you are trying to achieve...be it an amount of money, an exotic sports car, a house or even a college degree for that matter...anything! This acts as a visual constant reminder of what it is you are pursuing. Afterall nothing is worst than forgeting what you are accually sweating your butt off for!

4. Write out and rewrite your goals every day: This is quite simple, each morning before you begin you day, write down as breifly as you can the top goal you are pursuing and then six things you will have to do that day to move you towards that goal

5. STICK AROUND POSITIVE PEOPLE: This is soooooooooooooooooo important that I am going to repeat it in bolded letters STICK AROUND POSITIVE PEOPLE. We eventually have the same type of attitude as the group of people we hang around with. To have a positive attitude and to be positively motivated, you have to hang out with peopl who have a positive attitude and are positively motivated.

Stay tune for the remaining five...!

Our Deepest Fear

Thanks LoLa, creator of http://includemewhydontcha.blogspot.com/

"There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same."

-An extract from the poem by Marianne Wilson
Our Deepest Fear

By far this is the best poem on personal motivation i have ever. It is so powerful in a sense that it really gets you to stop and think before you fall victim as your greatest obstacle. Then again this is my experience. I highly encourage that you read this for yourself and start making your life happen!

Your Attitude determines your Altitude in Life

Atitude

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think, say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skills. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. ... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes.

Quote of the day

http://www.flickr.com/photos/65545032@N00/212869203/

I would like to dedicate this blog post to the year 2010...the year of greatness for you and your family. One advice, stop fooling around with small goals; choose a goal that scares the scrap out of you and i promise you that a way will make it's appearance as you begin your exploration. This is from personal experience.

"THE MAN WHO THINKS HE CAN"

If you think you are beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you'd like to win, but think you can't
It's almost a cinch you won't.
If you think you'll lose, you've lost,
For out in the world we find
Success beings with a fellow's will;
It's all in the state of mind.

If you think you're outclassed, you are:
You've got to think high to rise.
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.
Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man,
But soon or late the man who wins
Is the man who thinks he can.
